It is a highly adhesive, crack-resistant compound that is used for fast and easy drywall finishing. It applies and sands easily and has multiple applications: producing simple, hand-applied texture finishes: embedding tape; and producing fill coats and finishings over drywall joints, paper-faced metal bead, trim, and fasteners.

The compound is a superior, conventional drying-type powder compound that provides easy mixing, smooth application, and ample working time. It incorporates good taping and topping characteristics in a single product, and weighs up to 20-percent less than conventional compounds. Its low shrinkage formulation usually requires two coats rather than three over bead.
